Luthier & Repair Specialist — Liberty, Missouri

A life spent
with the violin
family.

Eric grew up with strings. The son of an orchestra teacher, he started playing violin at five, and the instrument has never really let him go. What began as a player's love for the craft has deepened over fifteen years into a professional dedication to keeping these instruments alive and responsive in the hands of those who play them.

His work spans the full range of stringed instrument care — from the routine adjustments that make an instrument a pleasure to play, to complex structural repairs that bring a damaged instrument back from the edge. He also builds violins, drawn to the intricacies of design and the quiet satisfaction of shaping sound from wood.

Eric works out of his private workshop in Liberty, Missouri — convenient for families and players throughout the Northland who'd rather not cross the river for quality instrument care. Every instrument is treated with the same attention he gives his own.
